My former economics professor at AUB, who is now Minister of Economics (hired not for any talents but for an established record of subservience to Hairri wishes), spoke about the Paris III (the Sanyurah economic "reform" plan for Lebanon) on AlJazeera. He said--I kid you not--that yes, they will bring more loans, but those loans are better than past loans (Lebanon has one of the highest debts of any country in the world--$40 billion) because they are "less costly" loans.
