This is the criteria of US government AND media (including Nation magazine) in covering demonstrations around the world: demonstrations against pro-US governments are bad and a sign of threats to democracy. But demonstrations against anti-US governments are very democratic and healthy--and the demonstrators in this case are so good looking.
