From the New Republic of all places (on Gemayyel's assassnation): "Still, it wouldn't come as such a shock to anybody who survived Lebanon's bloody 15-year civil war, which was replete with examples of intra-sect killings. Christian leader Samir Geagea, head of the Lebanese Forces movement, was only recently released from prison for his links to the bombing of a Maronite church and the assassination of fellow Christian politicians Dany Chamoun and Elias Al Zayek. Notably, although there's no public evidence of his involvement, dozens of Gaegea's commandos were arrested just days after the Gemayel assassination." (thanks F.)
