AlJazeera English is available on GlobeCast Satellite service. I have that service, but you have to change the receiver to be able to get it. Today, I installed the new receiver. I watched some today. It was, well, "fair and balanced." I saw Dave Marash (who used to be a local anchor in Washington, DC when I lived there) talk about the Palestinian situation. He said that the Hamas leader sounds to him like "mafia boss." I was expecting him to add that the gangster, Muhammad Dahlan, comes across as a statesman. The reports and the delivery appear more contrived than the Arabic AlJazeera and there is an attempt to prove that the White Man will be in charge of the station, and that there is no need for Western public and official alarm.
