`Ali Kan`an, the brother of Ghazi Kan`an (the former Minister of Interior in Syria) was also found dead. He--like his brother--also committed "suicide." He shot himself 20 times in the back with an AK-47, after subjecting himself to cruel torture. (A member of his family said that his body was found smashed. I say: he must have smashed his own body after killing himself).
