There is a very long interview with Hasan Nasrallah in As-Safir. It was based on a 5-hours interview. Somebody sent me the audio but I have not had a chance to listen to them. I read the transcript. There is not much that is new except the clear effort on the part of Hizbullah to appease, well, everybody, in Lebanon and in the Middle East. Nasrallah even refrained from criticizing Saudi Arabia, and did not even criticize Walid Jumblat. When Hizbullah, despite what happened, insists on avoiding any criticisms of House of Saud it only reinforces the perception that it often--but not always--acts on behalf of Iranian regional policies. Nasrallah did not even criticize mini-Hariri. The interview revealed that the security detail of Nasrallah sometimes allows him to walk the streets.
