They did not like a very historically accurate account of changes in verses in the Qur'an that Muhammad `Abid Al-Jabiri presented in this article. Early books on Islam talked about such matters but in the Shakhbuti era (as Yasin Al-Hafidh called the Saudi era) you can't be critical in your examination of Islam and its history.
