In posting some parts of Anthony Cordesman's report, I was not of course endorsing it. I sometimes post articles from Commentary magazine, for potato's sake. So relax already. And yes, Cordesman said this in his introduction: "The following analysis is based largely on media reporting, data provided by Israeli and Arab think tanks, and a visit to Israel sponsored by Project Interchange of the American Jewish Committee." And I did not see any evidence of "Arab think tanks". What Arab think tanks? Is he talking about the Saudi Embassy in Washington, DC? And I did not see any evidence of Arab sources, and he clearly did not bother to even check what the other side is saying. This analysis is basically based on what the Israeli officials told him, and he was way too trusting of what he was told. But then again. You can't be rude with "Project Interchange."
