I noticed that in the meeting today between David Welsh (Asst Sec of State for Near East) and leaders of March 14, Walid Jumblat (who proudly reads The New York Review of Books and who finds "documents on the internet") was not represented. (Have you noticed how much Western reporters like to interview Jumblat? And how many Lebanese do they think he represents? He is not his father Kamal who transcended his sect. That is for sure.)
