Trends in Lebanese public opinion, and cracks in House of Saud's camp in Lebanon. Significantly, on the 8th day of Israeli aggression on Lebanon, mini-Hariri criticized the US, as did indirectly and very politely Pierre Laval of Lebanon, Fu'ad Sanyurah. And Khalid Qabbani (a decent--very decent--Hariri minister) cried live on TV when he spoke about (and among) the refugees living in the public park of Sanayi`. He also mocked the US administration. But this is amazing: after 6 years in office, there are no signs that Bush learned anything, ANYTHING, about the Middle East. I mean, he appears giddy watching the bombings in Lebanon. Even from the standpoint of American policy and interests: the developments of Lebanon will only undermine further the goals of his administration. But he has no clue. No clue. Just read his exchange with Tony Bliar.
