Nasser on Al-Arabiyya TV. It seems that the Saudi government wants to refight the Arab Cold War. It is airing a "documentary" dealing with Nasser, and is basically discrediting and mocking him. I have no problem with that. I am no fan of Nasser: I have always believed that his charismatic spell was dangerous for the masses, and if you forgive Nasser for many things, I can't forgive him for the 1967 defeat. He is primarily responsible for that defeat, and that defeat changed everything about the plight of Zionism in Palestine. But the House of Saud is the last to cast stones on anybody; not even on Jeffrey Dahmer.
