In the 1st issue of a new secular anti-Israeli publication in Beirut (Byrut Al-Wafa'), the following story is told. A Lebanese politician was meeting with an Arab leader (probably in Saudi Arabia). In this meeting, the politician criticized his country's stand toward Israeli aggression. The leader said that "we want it to rid you of Hizbullah so that Lebanon can live." The Lebanese politician replied: "But you destroyed Lebanon, and Hizbullah lives."
