A "highly-placed" Lebanese (Sunni) sent me this message:
"groups of armed "Sunni" thugs roam certain parts of Beirut. Sneering at Shiaa refugees in the capital, thugs taunt the unwelcome "guests" with sectarian crap, with no taboos whatsoever. In the mountain, Jumblatt's men (all armed) had an armed skirmish with PPS elements. LAF did intervene immediately. Jumblatt's men are at the end of their nerves as they try to prevent Hezballah from deploying any launchers in their sectors. So Arms you say? they're everywhere, as we PREPARE FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF THE "NATIONAL DIALOGUE"."
