Dissent in the House of Saud. Twice today, LBC-TV invited Saudi academics to speak on behalf of the House of Saud's policy toward the Israeli war on Lebanon. On both occasions, the Saudi academics started by praising the King and then expressing tough views and opinions against Israeli aggression on Lebanon, and against the US support. In one case (the newscast at 2:00PM Pacific Time), the Saudi academic (a member of the Shura Council) said that the Israeli war is a war on "all the Arab ummah."
