Novelist Halim Barakat was on Future TV's Khallik Bi-l-Bayt. The host asking about his last novel, in which he scathingly attacks Jubran Tuwayni. Halim condemned the murder of Jubran, and then added that his difference with him is not personal, and that he stands by the criticisms. The host was not amused.
