I don't have faith in the masses, anywhere. I even have less faith in the masses during the World Cup season. I was in Lebanon during the Israeli invasion in 1982 when the Arab masses were busy with the World Cup. This is the one point with which I agree with `Arafat (in private--he never expressed that view publicly).
