When it comes to Lebanon, Human Rights Watch in New York acts like the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Also, its statements on Palestine seem drafted by the legal advisors of..the US Department of State. Notice in this statement, that HRW is only concerned over the death of the billionaire (and following the Hariri Inc assumes a link between all the assassinations, and that is a political assumption, not a legal one), and has not yet noticed the death of the tens of poor Syrian workers in Lebanon. But I assure you that Human Rights Watch, which had given an award to right-wing Lebanonese lawyer, Muhammad Mughrabi (who, according to a Human Rights Watch person who met with him, refuses to refer to the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon as an "invasion" and who allegedly advised the Lebanese Forces militia during the war), will not rest until Muhammad Mughrabi lowers his cholesterol level.
