When government propaganda gets into the New York Times. "In one of the newly released documents, an unidentified member of the group wrote that the cells in Baghdad are capable of only "hit and run" operations." There is no Arabic word for "hit and run." This must have been written in English. (If I have the time, and the resources, (and if I am not sick, of course), I would really enjoy deconstructing the New York Times and Washington Post on a daily basis. I once sat next to Ralph Nader on the plane, and saw him write comments and annotations on every news item that he read. He managed a few Arabic words with me too.)
