Today, the PLO office was re-opened in Lebanon, for the first time since 1982. The new director, Fath's `Abbas Zaki, gave a silly talk in which he praised the Lebanese government. Left unmentioned is this: that the Lebanese government wants to suddenly empower Fath, against the pro-Syrian Palestinian groups in Lebanon, and in order to weaken Hamas. Read the speech that Shafiq Al-Hut gave on the occasion. He gave ample warnings about Lebanese government intentions. You may fool Zaki, but not Shafiq Al-Hut.
