Hizbullah and Hamas: foolishness in politics. Hizbullah is reaching a new high, or low, in political naivete and foolishness these days. Mini-Hariri accused the party of plotting to subvert Lebanon. The party issued a statement insisting that mini-Hariri retracts, and that his statement is "dangerous." Mini-Hariri ignored them, and they were satisfied. And then Hizbullah, after the May 10th demonstration, decides that the horrific government's economic plan is "acceptable" after all--they only have disagreements on some details, and the Hizbullah minister in the cabinet, Muhammad Fnaysh, presents a plan to privatize his own ministry. And Hamas continues its game of calling for the thing and its opposite. Jordan accuses Hamas of a most diabolic plot, and Hamas officials insist on "brotherly" ties with Jordan, and one Hamas officials praised the Jordanian services to the Palestinian cause.
