When Hizbullah and `Awn signed their agreement, I dismissed it as meaningless. I stand by my early verdict and add this qualification: the only concrete result of this agreement is basically a return (and eventual amnesty) of collaborators with Israeli occupation in South Lebanon. These were the people who tortured and killed Lebanese and Palestinians during the days of the ill-cited South Lebanon Army.
