Ma Sha' Allah Shams Al-Wa`idhin. ما شاء الله شمس الواعظين
There is an Iranian commentator associated with a (government) thinktank in Tehran, whose name is Ma Sha'Allah Shams Al-Wa`idhin. I like his name: most unusual. The full translation of his name is this: Whatever God May Will The Sun of all Preachers. (The Sun of All Preachers is his family name). But his first name is quite long, which made me wonder about his petname as a child. Did his mother call him: "whatever" or "God" or "May Will"?
