The Lebanonese Maronite Patriarch: You should read carefully the speech by Maronite Patriarch, Nasrallah Sfayr, on the occasion of Easter. It drips with racism against Palestinians. Here, this same Patriarch (who is probably the Lebanese that I trust the least among all Lebanese) credits Bush for "liberating" Lebanon. In fact, I did not know that Lebanon was "liberated" until I read this interview. In the same interview, Sfayr lies when he says that the Palestinians in Lebanon demand the right to vote in Lebanon. But this is not the first time that Sfayr lies. In fact, I am still waiting for him to tell us about the treaty between the Maronite Patriarchate and the Zionist movement in 1946.
