I have the most admiration for French students. I really and genuinely salute the students of France. They always act courageously, and nationally. I know of no country where high school students--not to mention college students--are as engaged in political matters. I have lived here for 23 years, and I have never once witnessed collective action by American students. If other students around the world realize how much power they can actually exercise if they choose to, they will follow the path of French students.
