Another Muhammad picture controversy. French-Lebanese writer, Salah Stetie, wrote this book on Muhammad. The Lebanese acting Minister of Interior is preventing this book from reaching Lebanon because the cover has a picture of an artist's rendition of Muhammad (the illustration is from a 15h century painting from Hirat), and this Minister (also a minister of Ping Pong, and a Hariri tool) is insisting that the cover be changed. Apparently, Lebanese clerics who sat silent while Palestinians and Iraqis were (and are) being shot daily, were unhappy with the cover. But are we not supposed to judge books by their covers? I also noticed that if you look for the book on different sites, including Amazon.com, the book cover is not shown.
