A Shi`ite Palestinian organization. A new Shi`ite Palestinian organization was founded by one of the founders of Islamic Jihad organization. Muhammad Ghawanimah founded The Shi`ite Council in Palestine. Now there are Palestinian Shi`ites: those who hail from villages in northern Palestine close to the border with Lebanon, like Al-Bassah. But this new group seems to want to convert Palestinians to Shi`ism.
