I received this email from a person who wishes to remain anonymous (some of you know who he is):
"I got a call from the Democratic National Committee yesterday. The
caller thanked me for my previous donations to the party and wondered if
they can count on my support for this year's upcoming elections. When
I told him (an older gentleman) that I was ambivalent about the party
these days he quickly answered that he understands my ambivalence but
that the party has been doing some "great things" lately. When I asked
about what they have been doing he was quick to say that the party has
protected the ports from a takeover by an Arab company. When I
explained to him that I was Arab-American my self I got two seconds of
silence. I then asked him to call me back when the party returns to its
roots and lets go of its attempt to snatch the fear tactic from the
republicans."
