I have not seen the movie, Paradise Now. I just saw an interview with its director Hani Abu As`ad. I did not like him, and felt certain that I would not like his movie. I shall see it before I go and speak on Arabs/Muslims in Western movies at the Seattle Film Festival at the end of the month. As of late, liberalism from the mouth of Arabs annoys me just as neo-conservatism. But liberalism in developing countries is the other face of Western neo-conservatism.
