Hariri Fortune and Lebanon's Foreign Debt: I was just reading the Forbes list of billionaires. The Hariri fortune has grown substantially. As you may remember, Jihad Al-Khazen--to his credit--called on Rafiq Hariri when he started his political career to put his wealth in a blind trust, as did Nasib Lahhud. Hariri refused. Somebody should chart the size of Hariri wealth over the years (since he assumed office by orders of the Syrian regime) versus the size of Lebanon's foreign debt.
