It is hilarious, in a way. Ajami is now reduced to writing what reads like press releases for the White House. Everything he wrote after Sep. 11 reads like inelegant RNC talking points about the Middle East. I mean, read this, for example: "Our war in Iraq has smashed for good that despotic state."
