Walid....Gemayyel (Jumblat?): I saw the interview with Walid Jumblat on Al-Mustaqbal TV. I could not believe this chameleon who shifts in positions sometimes over night. But today he sounded like Pierre Gemayyel in 1975; all his explanations, interpretations, and narratives of the civil war did not deviate from the account of Pierre Gemayyel. And he stuck to that script for the entire time. Personally I never liked or respected Jumblat. I never enjoyed him as a Syrian client for decades, and enjoy him even less as a client of the US enterprise in Lebanon. Also, did you notice when Jumblat's mind dozed off at one point? When he said that Ta'if accords (1989) killed his father (1977)? His interviewer had to remind him that Ta'if was long after the assassination of Kamal Jumblat.
