So when Saudi Arabia decided to make up with the Syrian regime, and protect it from pressures, all Saudi-owned media were ordered to stop airing the statements of `Abdul-Halim Khaddam. They all did. Lebanese journalists, who are overwhelmingly present in the Saudi-owned media, are so nicely submissive to Saudi oil. Al-Arabiyya TV taped an one-hour interview with Walid Jumblat, but did not air it yesterday; and even the Hariri rag, Al-Mustaqbal, has suddenly softened its tone on Syria, and forgot the existence of Khaddam. And you think that those Lebanonese nationalists, including Jumblat, who take orders from the Saudi royal money, are capable of building a nation? Not even a casino.
