In Lebanon, Assistant Secretary of State for Near East affairs made a statement in which he called on Syria to stop interfering in Lebanese affairs. He made the statement while actually interfering in Lebanese affairs. (In Iraq as we all know, the US does not interfere. It leaves all matters to the sovereign country of Iraq).
