This guy is just amazing. Makiyya here absolves the US of the war, invasion, and destruction of Iraq. Instead, from London, he blames the Iraqis themselves. I am told that the neo-cons in DC really thought that he would be welcomed as the Havel in Iraq, and that he really thought that he would write the Iraqi constitution himself. Look at his solution to Iraq's problems: "Appoint a committee of expert constitutional lawyers." Why bother with a vote, whey you can appoint the wise advocates of US war and occupation who assured Bush (as he did personally) that US invaders would be welcomed with "sweets and flowers" or was it "baklava and flowers"?
