"A group of Lebanese nationals on Thursday filed a civil law suit against former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff Lieutenent General (res.) Moshe Ya'alon for war crimes and other human rights violations. The class action lawsuit, filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), is in relation to the hundreds of civilian deaths and injuries in the 1996 shelling by the IDF of a United Nations compound in south Lebanon's Kafr Kana."
