Did you see the documentary on Hariri on Al-Arabiyya? Propaganda footage without the skills of Riefenstahl. Although the "documentary" is billed as a "documentary", you should wait until they run the credits. You will see that the sript was written by `Ali Nun, none other than the Beirut correspondent of Al-Arabiyya, and a member of the large media entourage that accompanied Hariri. Hariri critics were not allowed to speak; Kamal Hamdan was about to say somehing, and he was cut off in mid sentence. Albert Mansur was the only Hariri critic allowed, and only one sentence critical of Hariri directly was permitted. There was a Hizbullah spokersperson, but Hizbullah does not criticize Hariri. And they had a "Sunni from Beirut" to speak about his love of Hariri. They first had him say nasty things about the Palestinians, although he admitted that he was a member of As-Sa`iqah--one of the most brutal, corrupt, and thuggish organizations. It was a mere tool since its creation of the Syrian regime. This "Sunni from Beirut"--average man of the street type of speaker for the "documentary"--after praising Hariri said: "...and I never personally profited from Hariri....except for somethings that I would get in Ramadan." I kid you not.
