I was reading the text of the speech of the Saudi Mufti. He talked a lot about women's rights in Islam, accusing the "enemies of Islam" of distorting the Islamic record. He then went on to praise the Islamic record and concluded with this call for Muslim women: "stay attached to the laws of God, and stay home, and beware of those fora and bogus councils that have no good in them."
