The Lebanese commander of the PFLP-GC, Anwar Raja, is quite clumsy in his media appearances and interviews. I don't understand his rise to "prominence." The PFLP-GC used to have a Lebanon expert in its leadership, Fadl Shruru, who authored a useful book about Lebanese political parties. But then again. Ahmad Jibril runs the group as the private domain of his, run on behalf of Syrian intelligence. Of all the Palestinian political groups, PFLP-GC historically has been the most unprincipled and the most ideologyless. In fact, that was the 2nd reason that led Jibril to split from the PFLP to form his own group, and that is why he named it PFLP-General Command. He wanted to imply that the military cadres don't want to bother with ideology.
