I really feel that Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat columnist (and Al-Arabiyya director) `Abdur-Rahman Ar-Rashid writes every column not for the readers, but for the eyes of Thomas Friedman, hoping to impress him, and hoping to be cited by Friedman.
