Mini-Hariri: When Sa`d Hariri moved to Tripoli to lead the highly sectarian and exorbitant parliamentary campaign for his list, the Hariri Inc provided him with a former close advisor of his father. This advisor told him to invoke Arab nationalism and the name of `Abdun-Nasir in his silly campaign speeches. Hariri was baffled. What does Nasir have to do with this?, he asked. The advisor was angry at him. He told him: "For your information. When your dad used to watch the TV serial on Um Kulthum's life, he always did so in private. Because whenever the image of Nasir would come up, he would cry." Hariri still did not understand. He probably did not know what a TV is, and who Um Kulthum was.
