Hazim Sha`lan, former puppet defense minister in Iraq who is embroiled in the $1 billion (at least) embezzlement scandal, said that he "will refute the lies" about him but "at the right time." Ya. This is like the Syrian Ba`thist promise since the 1970s, that they will fight Israel "but at the time and place" of "our" choice. Since I was a kid, I wondered about the "place" part of the promise. What does that mean? I understand that you want to ostensibly select the time, but the place is..THE PLACE, unless you want to fight Israel or recover occupied Arab lands from Belgium.
