Features of Lebanese Democracy: The Hariri camp in Beirut was very pleased with Lebanese president Emile Lahhud yesterday. You know why: because during a cabinet meeting Lahhud said, among other things, "let heads be cut off." That statement really pleased the democracy advocates of the Lebanonese opposition, and convinced them that Lahhud has now joined the "democratic movement of March 14th". I am not making this up.
