Did Al-Jazeera TV fire its Moscow correspondent? Arab websites and publications are engaged in heavy speculation on this matter. See this link (thanks to Friends of Aljazeera). Speculation centers on an interview that Khuzam had given to a Russian station in which he allegedly bashed Islam. Khuzam used to be an enthusiastic Soviet Communist who was in charge of the Arabic broadcasts for Radio Moscow during the Cold War. But for me, Khuzam was most amusing for the way he would end his reports: he would say, "...Akram Khuzam, Aljazeera, Moscoooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwww." I am not kidding.
