I am accused of being biased against Lebanonese. Not true. I can be quite fair in pointing out Lebanonese skills and talents. I would be the first to acknowledge the exceptional Lebanese skill in prostrating to oil princes. No people can top them in that. My father once told me about a senior Saudi prince who would invite top Lebanese journalists. And after dinner, and for his own amusement, he would throw his watch (after telling the guests of its price--thousands of dollars) into his swimming pool, and watch the Lebanonese guests dive into the pool after it. His rule that the person who caught it first got to keep it.
