The site of the massive bombing that killed Rafiq Hariri and others is closed off. You can still see some of the cars covered, and are being examined by the UN team investigating the assassination (and according to Le Figaro receiving "useful" and innocent Israeli help). I wanted to take pictures of the site, so I went to the best angle from the terrace of the swimming pool of the Pheonicia Hotel. You can see the extensive damage to the St. George Hotel to the right, and to the building across. Posted by Picasa
