I shall begin posting pictures from my trip; not all 400 of them. This one is from my trip to Dayr Mar Qizhayya, the site of the first printing press in the Arab world (from 1610 AD), and was written about in Volney's Voyage en Serie et en Egypte. This is a view of the lovely village of Sir`il just below the site of the monastery of Mar Qizhayya.
