Al-Manar TV and An-Nur Radio do not refer to the car bombs in Iraq as "Istishhadi" (martyrdom) operations. They in fact refer to the victims of kooky Zarqawi's bombings as "shuhada'." They do the same even when the bombings are directed against Iraqi police targets. I wonder whether that conforms with some tendencies in Sunni Arab public opinion. And one wonders: did the US war in Iraq exploit Sunni-Shi`ite tensions, or unleash them? And will the unfolding of the war in Iraq reduce or increase those tensions? No time to answer. Will be back in 10 days.
