Sunni Salafi groups are now making their presence known in Lebanon. Having been suppressed for years by Syrian military in Lebanon--which arrested and persucted many of their members and leaders--those groups feel that they now can come out in public. I am talking about Bin Ladenite groups like Jund Ash-Sham and Jama`at An-Nur. And the groups that were behind Ad-Dinniyyah and Majdal `Anjar events will soon be released from jail. Finally, Hizb At-Tahrir for one just held its first parade in Tripoli. Mark my words. There will come a time when the US will--once again--invite Syria to intervene in Lebanon.
