"Afghanistan Sees Worst Anti-U.S. Protests Since Fall of Taliban" (I thought that the people of Afghanistan are big admirers of the US government and its wars. The story of desecration of the Qur'an was written about before in the Arabic press, but the reference to it in Newsweek seems to make the most impact. But you know what: why do people feel most provoked when it comes to their religious beliefs? I wish those same people would be as--if not more--outraged over the death of civilians, foreign occupation, and injustice in general. No wonder I am NOT an admirer of the masses, any masses anywhere).
