So a couple of Arab journalists were invited to visit Guantánamo prison camp. One was a reporter for the pro-Bush, pro-Saud, pro-Allawi Al-Arabiyya TV. The reporter aired a dispassionate report, which is slanted toward the US military (telling us for example that there are doctors in the camp and water to drink, etc.) But she also reported that she was allowed to attend a hearing (no trials of course) on the island. In the course of one hearing, she found that the government translator made three balatant errors of translation from Arabic into English. He could not even translate Chechnya. But justice is being served in the self-designated "beacon of freedom." Always. Do you have a problem with that?
